    Short description

By culture, a good mix between traditional and contemporary and new culture is to be understood. Customs and tradition are still strongly brought to the fore, although various organisations struggle with major problems attracting young people. Creativity would be available to position new directions of art, but often the courage or the necessary money for a successful implementation is lacking. Particularly among children and young people the desire for new, alternative offers was great. This request was taken up by the working group Kulturspektakel St. Leonhard and offered under the same name an appealing and multi-part cultural programme in the form of workshops. All workshops were offered to the children and young people free of charge.

    Point of departure

The Mühlviertler Alm and its member communities are characterised by a diverse culture which reflects the quality of life and identity of the region. The beautiful cultural landscape, which is sustainably maintained by the farmers, is an important basis for a high quality of life, tourism and economy. The Mühlviertler Alm is also CULTURAL AREA. Castles, churches, chapels, small monuments, stone formations and much more characterise the living environment and enable above all a touristic use. Unfortunately, the increasingly empty town centres are no longer seen as cultural highlights.
