Short description

What is necessary to be competitive when competing with similar regions and, above all to secure with its products unique selling points on the market?
This requires a clearly developed and defined strategic positioning which is endorsed by all cooperation businesses. The group Nationalpark-Partnerbetriebe Osttirol revises and defines their quality criteria accordingly new.

Point of departure

The association lives the national park philosophy and is constantly working on further developing its marketing and unique position.
The association consists of 62 member enterprises with 1,700 beds of different categories.

These are composed by:
- 23 Landlords - holiday apartments
bed & breakfasts and landlords of private rooms
- 17 agri-tourisms
- 10 inns with overnight accommodation
- 3 innkeepers
- 8 hotels (3x 3* and 4 x 4* hotels)

Targets and target groups

The aim of the project is to define and further develop its unique selling points in order to strategically position itself on the market. For this it is important to regularly revise or redefine quality criteria.

Project implementation and measures

This work ultimately results in an increase in the quality of the entire range of offers, which leads to an increase in the number of overnight stays in the region, an increase in added value and a stronger positioning on the high potential topic of the Hohe Tauern National Park.

Results and effects

Through the project and the intense collaboration the participating businesses expect an increase in the number of overnight stays an of added value in the region.

It is also important to ensure an increase in the quality of the association themselves but most of all a stronger positioning on the high potential topic of the Hohe Tauern National Park.
