Short descriptionIn the centre of St. Lorenzen, a generation park with a modern, attractive youth corner is being established. Young people should feel enthusiasm and feel that they are not being driven away. The freerunning parcours enables young people to recognise the art of movement and their own limits. It should become a meeting place.
Point of departureIn the context of the process for a "Family Friendly Community", it was found that youth hardly have a chance to meet undisturbed to exchange and engage. The market town St. Lorenzen wants to pay special attention to the youth, the town centre of the community should be revived again.
Targets and target groupsThe project is carried out in order to create a meeting place for the young people of the community or region.
Project implementation and measuresOn a surface of approx. 800 m² a compact youth corner is established. The uniqueness of this course is highlighted by the construction of a modern freerunning course with concrete elements and horizontal bars in combination with a workout course. On three balancing pistes and a slackline, the adolescents can measure their skill. In the immediate vicinity there is a modern rectangular pavilion with seating. Relaxation is being offered by a double wooden sofa mounted on springs.
Results and effectsThe youth corner with a freerunning course can be used all year round and is very popular with many young people from the community and the region.
