Short description

Under the motto “Mattighofen Web 2.0” (Mattighofen Local Suppliers Web 2.0) a website is planned which is completely different from what is usual among local suppliers. The website focuses right on the interests of tradesmen and tourism enterprises. For this purpose the new technological potentials of Web 2.0 are used which let visitors to the website become active authors and co-designers. Use of the site does not require previous technical know-how and provides comprehensive information and service.

Point of departure

Mattighofen has a network of naturally-grown, family-run local suppliers. Apart from the broad mix of sectors above all the high quality in customer advice and service are shining examples distinguishing the local supply structure of Mattighofen from “bulk purchasing”.
To ensure the local-supply structure of the town for the long term, measures are taken to strengthen human and qualitative aspects, to intensify customer ties, integrate the neighbouring area of Bavaria and increase the attractiveness of the site.

The site is advertised by multiple activities and policies like poster campaigns, small media series, series in the print media and the “Stadtpost”, prize games, photo competitions etc.
