Short description

The project aims at creating a uniform market presence of regional suppliers as an important component of event and marketing co-operations in the Fuschlsee region.

Point of departure

All around the year the communities of the Fuschlsee region offer numerous events, for example Christmas markets or farmers’ markets, where regional products are offered.
So far, however, there has been no possibility of an attractive uniform market presence of suppliers. Existing huts no longer satisfied the demands and, due to irreparable signs of wear and tear, could not be used any longer.
This was the reason for launching the present project.

Targets and target groups

Creating a uniform market presence of regional suppliers in the Fuschlsee region, improving the presentation of the local products offered by means of a clear relation to the Fuschlsee region.

Project implementation and measures

Therefore, 14 mountain huts that are characteristic of the region were constructed.
The mountain huts of the Fuschlsee region are made of wood and, thanks to a simple plug-in system, can easily be put up. As each of the huts has a handpainted table with views of the region, for example a table showing the Ebenauer Waterfalls, a picture of Thalgau, the 100-years old lime tree Faistenau, the view from the Fuschlsee to the Fuschle castle and many more, the project manager expects that the recall value in visitors will increase the usefulness of the project for the Fuschlsee region.
