Ziel der Veranstaltung
Im Rahmen des österreichischen Vorsitzes der Alpenkonvention findet von 18. bis 19. April 2017 in Alpbach die Internationale Konferenz „Frauen in Bergregionen“ statt. Diese Veranstaltung stellt die einzigartige Rolle von Frauen in den Mittelpunkt und beleuchtet ihren unverzichtbaren Beitrag zum Schutz, der Erhaltung und der Weiterentwicklung von Gebirgsregionen.
Für Bundesminister Andrä Rupprechter, derzeit Vorsitzender der Alpenkonvention, sind diese Fragen ein großes Anliegen.

International Conference „The Role of Women in Mountain Regions“ in Alpach/Tyrol from 18th to 19th of April 2017!
In the course of the Austrian presidency of the Alpine Convention, Austria will host the international conference „The Role of Women in Mountain Regions“ in Alpach/Tyrol from 18th to 19th of April 2017. The conference will address the unique role of women and their indispensable contribution towards the protection, preservation and development of mountain areas.
As current president of the Alpine Convention Federal Minister Andrä Rupprechter has put this issue at the centre of his agenda.
Benefit from mutual exchange and networking, get to know innovative projects and develop new solutions!
Further information and the conference programme will be presented here by the end of January 2017.
The conference will be held in both English and German (with simultaneous translation).
