Smart Villages: Final conference of the Smart Rural 21 project

The conference will present the final outcomes of the Smart Rural 21 project that is the result of intensive collaboration with rural communities and other relevant stakeholders across Europe to realise Smart Villages on the ground over more than two years.

There are limited places for this event and it will be allocated on a first comes first served basis, keeping the country and type of organisation balance in sight.

The the first round of registrations will end by 25 July 2022. Secure your place at the event as soon as you can as there are limited places that will mostly be allocated on a first come first served basis!

13.00 – 15.00: Welcome: the Smart Rural 21 Project and other keynote speeches
15.30 – 18.00: Smart approaches of the Smart Rural 21 and other smart villages (presentations, exhibitions and networking)
19.30 – 23.00: Dinner and networking

18 October 2022: Smart Villages policy & practice (workshops and networking)

9.00 – 9.15: Introduction to the day
9.15 – 9.45: Real world testing of smart villages strategies: Presentations by Stanz (Austria) & Tomaszyn (Poland)
9.45 – 11.15: Workshops: How to act smart at the local level – Exploring smart thematic areas & solutions
11.45 – 13.15: Workshops: policymaking, networking and capacity-building for Smart Villages
13.15 – 14.30: Lunch and networking
14.30 – 15.00: Feedback from workshop sessions
15.00 – 16.00: Panel discussion & conclusions
